As the title states. I just want a physx card again because I received a copy of Metro 2033 and would like to turn the eye candy on.

Dual or Single slot will work for me.

I don't know what your price limit is but Dell has a 30% off deal on most of their cards till the end of the day today. If you use promo code 3?H4STV7KN?VFX you can get a EVGA GTS 250 for $93.70 shipped to Illinois, and that's before the $20 mail in rebate. They have other cards too, so you might want to check it out.

It was causing issues with my TV tuner due to the fan rubbing the chip on the back causing the system to lockup when MCE was running. After selling the 9800 I decided to go ahead and build a HTPC.

I'm looking for a pic of the card I have, but I can't find on online. It's a BFG Tech 8800gt 512mb card. It says thermointelligence on the heatsink, but it doesn't look like the thermointelligence 8800gt I see online- http://www.bfgtech.com/bfgr88512gtocxfe.aspx . It actually looks more like this- http://www.bfgtech.com/bfgr88512gtoc2e.aspx , but the heatsink is different. It's alittle smaller and the fan is on the other side of the heatsink(close to the monitor connections). My camera is loaned out right now, so I can't take a pic.

BTW, I had to do the over-trick with this card as when I got it, it wasn't working. http://forums.techpowerup.com/showthread.php?t=112815

I've used heat guns to fix video cards but that oven trick scares me away.

If you don't mind can I see if a 260/275 pops up til then?
