A lil help with small prob

yer so i have this prob where when i hit CTRL/ALT/DEL that windows pops up, it seems to have an error where there boarders are bung

I cant switch between processes and running programs??


and i can only close it with ALT/F4



help would be good ,thanks

Wierd indeed... seems like a hosed registry. I assume you've rebooted and same problem? Try creating a new user account and see if it's a problem there too.

Anything installed before you started noticing it?

Try double clicking right in the middle of where I've got the red circle when it comes up:

Had that happen to me once, though i just got click happy and figured it out, drove me nuts though.

Aye -- I can't remember where I learned how to do that! :laugh: I usually use it to minimize just the CPU performance tab into a little "desklet" on my screen.

Very odd - So how do you make task manager get into that mode in the first place?
