a strange problem

when ever i get a text/phone call on my mobile phone and its near my computer my computer crashes/runs really slow..its done it with 3 different hard drives..2 different cpu's, 2 different motherboards..3-4 different graphics cards..any ideas?

Uhhhh, that is VERY weird. Does your desktop have any wireless capability? That is the only thing I can think of, though it is a long shot.

Get a new phone. You can also try one of the antennae that go under the battery, although that only seems to help some nokia phones.

I`v seen LCD monitors that black out when near ringing phone but that was with older models.
So it is strange to say at least.

Ok, don't laugh... But take a microwave and place it in your room, put it on max and let it go for a minute. The "radiation" from a microwave oven should be worse than that of a mobile phone.

do you have any wireless devices attached to your pc? it's definitely some type of radio interference though, e.g. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MdWUT_o1QjM&NR=1 maybe it's just that phone? the model i mean, do you mean that 6 different TYPES of phones have done this to your computer?

Are you in a private house, or a building?

If you are in a building, you may very well have cell equipment ON the building, and are possibly getting hammered point-blank by an outdoor antenna.

That or there may well be one say, mounted on a building across the street, aimed pretty much right at you.
