Acer America has announced the new Predator XN253Q X monitor, which boasts up to an incredibly fast 0.4 ms response time for amazingly accurate gameplay even in the fastest action scenes.

Featuring a rapid 240Hz refresh rate and NVIDIA G-Sync that syncs in a way few technologies can rival, the Predator XN253Q X delivers stunningly clear and fluid visuals. A high 400 nit cd/m^2 brightness supports crisp, clear and brilliant images, so no important details are missed.

The Full HD resolution is perfect for advanced 1080p Full HD gaming, including Blu-ray Disc console gaming. Offering 11 black level options, built-in black boost gives gamers a visual advantage and 6 -axis color adjustment lets them fine-tune color, hue and saturation to best suit the game at hand.

"The latest Predator monitor is incredibly fast and combined with Nvidia G-Sync, it supports the latest game titles with performance so smooth, it will impress even the most demanding gamers with its true-to-life gameplay," said Ronald Lau, Acer America director - stationary computing.

Acer Game Mode has seven pre-set display modes - Action, Racing, Sports, Graphic, Standard, ECO and Movie - to optimize visuals to suit the content displayed. Settings are easily accessed through a hotkey or the On Screen Display (OSD) settings menu.

Outfitted with a TN panel, the Predator XN253Q X provides wide angle views up to 170 degrees horizontally and 160 degrees vertically, so gamers are less apt to miss a target. An ergonomic stand lets gamers find the most comfortable viewing angle with -5 to 25 degree tilt, +/-20 degree swivel, +/-90 degree pivot and height adjustment up to 4.5 inches. VESA wall-mounting leaves more desk space for gaming accessories. Acer Vision Care with flicker-less, blue-light filter, anti-glare and low- dimming technologies help prevent eye fatigue.

Handy cable management keeps cables organized and out of the way. HDMI 1.4 and DisplayPort 1.2 provide fast connection to a large gamut of PCs, while four USB 3.0 ports offer convenient connectivity to gaming sticks, mice and more. The Predator XN253Q X gaming monitor comes also comes with two 2 W speakers.

Pricing, Availability and Warranty
The Predator XN253Q X gaming monitor is available at leading retailers with prices starting at $499.99 MSRP. Click here for images.

Acer displays are backed by professional, high-quality technical support and a standard three-year parts and labor warranty. Response time isn't real until I see it on TFTcentral. They have the Acer Nitro XF252Q which claims 0.3 ms and is only $350. No ULMB

Methinks the guys who write advertised specs could easily transition into politics.

The XB271HU bmiprz (AU Optonics 10 bit panel, 1440p, IPS 165 Hz, 4.8 ms response time has been selling for $525 - $550 and it has ULMB
