Throughout the review you've typo'd "SM2260" as "SM2280".

Would've been nice if you'd done another set of thermal/throttling tests with the heatsink removed, just to see how much (or as I suspect, how little) difference it makes. Why can't manufacturers release something that WORKS instead of looking cool? Ugh.

hmm these seem to be fixed now, maybe the proof reader took care of it. thanks for reporting.

Good idea on the additional tests, i'll look into those for future reviews

Sorry to have confused you mate, I mean the $329 Samsung 860 EVO 1TB only costs $262 direct from Samsung Store if you have a .edu email.

you can do the math yourself, i was surprised too, but seems it more consistently scores higher than other drives.

EDIT: WARNING, THE INTEL STATS ARE MISLEADING AS -WHO KNOWS WHY- IT USES OTHER BLOCK SIZE!

And here the numbers, including
1. Samsung SSD Sata3 840 Evo 1TB
2. Intel SSD Pci-E 750 400GB
3. Adata Gammix SSD Pci-E 1TB

I just say wow, the Intel 750 is officially obsolete!
Newer benches show that intel 750 and the Adata Gammix are very similar (in this test)

I still can't decide if I am going to sell my 960 EVO or not. I got a 1TB 860 EVO for quite cheap with student discount, and am very content with it plus like the extra storage.

Benchmarks apart, I had ARMA3 on the Samsung 840 ssd and now it sits on the Adata Gammix and the game and the levels load like a Motogp race start!

A little more feedback: I installed their Adata Toolbox, a very ugly tool, clicked on "Update firmware" and got this message "Cannot run in IDE or RAID mode"... WTF?
I wrote them, and got an absurd reply in Chinglish, so beware:
"Hello
Thank you for supporting ADATA products.
SX10 follows the NVMe ™ (Nonvolatile Memory Standard) protocol,run with PCI-Echannel. Please check your pc, if still the same, Please contact with your dealer of the shop where you bought it for Replacement Swap/Repair service. If you need our help, please contact us again."

Note: I cannot edit a previous post of mine to improve it. Is this by design or mods?

Posts become read only after a while, that is by design/intended.
Also, the atrocious support is a given when you try to save a few bucks and buying from smaller Chinese manufacturers. Not that you can't get burned by more respectable makers when it comes to support.

Sure bug. But Adata is quite established in memory, aren't they? I have heavy duty pendrives from them and they are strong and superfast.

They've been on the market for many years, but Idk how "established" they are. I mean, afaik their products are typically average and I haven't heard anyone ever praising their support.

Edit: Fwiw, MSI lost me as a customer when they replied to an inquiry of mine with a pre-baked answer that was mostly a quote from the manual. By contrast, when I asked Abit about some memory compatibility, they apologized for not being able to source the very same modules, but they sourced something as similar as possible to test before replying. Of course, today MSI is alive and well and Abit is only a nice memory
