So. For Cookie Clicker, to get a kitten dipped in milk you need about 840 quintillion cookies. WTF? Has anyone ever gotten that far? I can't believe I still have that game running and keep exporting the score for when the browser crashes. Damned OCD. Anyway, I've gotten up to about 700 quadrillion or so but then blow them on one thing or another. Haven't broken even one quintillion yet though.

No, at certain point one of the things you can buy is "kitten managers" which look like kittens dunked in milk. The description says "that's not going to paws and problems sir." But the cost is 837.5 quintillion cookies - quintillion, not quadrillion. So even if you're generating say 2 trillion cookies per second, that's a lot of cookies. You're talking years if you just sit and wait for them to accumulate.

It wasn't until I found the Wiki page for Ascension that I realized it's apparently for the beta version only.
Restarts the game, turns your current cookies in to heavenly chips which you use for special upgrades. You start over, but get additional bonuses.

Hmmm. Interesting. I have to say that the game was pretty boring. I keep a couple dozen tabs open normally so having it run in the background and switching to it now and again wasn't a big deal. But with firefux I have generally can't keep that running more than a couple days w/o restarting it. Even with 16gig of memory it gets painfully slow or just crashes on its own.

Although yesterday they introduced a bunch of christmas related things and now I have reindeer jumping across the screen in addition to the magic cookies. But the beta sounds cool, so thank you. I guess I can run both - will have to check that out.

or you cheat and turn off the cost sync with current cookie income/amount. Everything you buy goes up based on how much you have. While other cheats may be "over the top" and "ruin the fun" (there's actually a cheat message about that) this one I still think is ok. Supply and demand says the more you have, the more it costs to get more. Fine. It doesn't say that relationship is exponential lol. Grandma 1 Cost 10 cookies, Grandma 200 cost 700,000,000,000 cookies...

I think not lol. At any rate towards endgame you can simply select the season at will. You can also revoke and start elder covenant for the apocalypse scenario. Hard to open mine for long now at 1 nonillion cookies and 2 quadrillion generation a second it makes my work laptop ramp up its fans pretty hardcore.

Thanks. I didn't see any cheats for the beta version but I didn't really look that hard. I found them for the regular version but it seemed like a lot of work. It's probably not but I'm not accustomed to using things like grease monkey so it would be for me, at least initially.

I did find the UTF encode/decode section on wikia though and was able to bump up my cookie count and got the "cheated cookies taste awful" achievement - lol.

Stuck on Cookie Clicker... going for achievements to get my Milk amount up. Also started the Grandmapocalypse... wrinklers can be really good. I reset my game once and got 254 heavenly chips.

Going for Neverclick achievement now... painfully slow. At least I have like 656 heavenly chips now after my reset. That'll massively boost CPS later
