this.I don't know why we always need a separate thread for this adoredtv person.he's not even a good source for hardware reviews,he's mostly into providing leaks and commentary.

I find it absolutely hlarious that a person who is always massively behind now watches a video from one,biased source and shakes their head on how we young uns don't read.

I read reviews from TPU,pcgh,computerbase,ppc,hwunboxed and sweclockers before watching adoretv struggle to measure the performance of 3 gpus in 4 games coherently. shame on me for taking info from limited sources,adoretv is all one ever needs

For the AMD cultists,AdoredTV isn't biased(as someone above said and got likes from similiar minded persons), AdoredTV is the devine truth fountain and anyone who says otherwise,they are the ones that are biased.
As i said before, their minds work in a particular way.For them,they are in the centre. So to their mind,they and the ones that shares same point of view and mindset,are not biased. The one's that disagrees with them,they are biased from their perspective. It's kind of like a mental health issue,we are not qualified to deal with this type of people. That's why I didn't even care to reply that guy before.

they're not mental,they just watch things that fit their narrative.if you ask me that's normal for someone who puts brand loyalty first,I'm okay with that cause that doesn't bother or influcence me in any way. What I don't like is when they shove it down my throat and claim it's more trustworthy than reputable (and actually hard working and meticulous) tech sites.adoredtv is far from meticulous for me,he invents drama where there is none and presents it as that very insightful thing only he discovered.uninformed people believe cause they don't follow other sources.simple yet works every time.fanboys don't bother with fact checking when he feeds them what they want to hear. it's nothing new,for tech industry and humanity in general.

I havent watched the video and could care less about it though the post that you're a troll is 100% correct, clearly you registered with the sole intention of slating AMD as per your post history and anyone who uses AMD, I'm glad you have a little friend in @cucker tarlson though, but if you 2 hadn't noticed, hardly anyone is debating the video, in fact the last 2 pages is you pair and a couple of others calling everyone who uses AMD fanbois, ironic or moronic? bit of both I think. Yeah, i even saw many comments where AMD cultists were claiming that after 3/4 years, RX 590 will perform better than RTX 2060 because it has 2gb more vram If you want pure entertainment,go to any AMD Vs. Nvidia gpu comparision video and read the comments. YouTube is now flooded with brainwashed AMD cultists,thanks to AdoredTV.

A RX 590 cant catch up to a Vega56/RTX 2060 cause it doesn't have that much power. And AMD fans dont expect it will performe as fast as a Vega56/RTX 2060.

At the end of the day Vega finally competes with the 1080 Ti... kinda, and despite the 7nm TSMC magic that was gonna turn things around completely. As it stands our long suffering AMD friends get to spend $699 on a card whose performance they thought was too expensive in the first place.

Let's be happy for them.

Problem is very few are actually buying Radeon 7. Some of them are still sporting their “evil” nvidia GPU in their system.

The "GCN sheduler(s)" are agnostic to graphics or compute tasks. Now if your argument was fixed function/SFU vs alus & cycles, you might be onto something. Let's not even consider TBR effects on cache structure, delta compression, etc...

In the end when game devs optimize for it most CUs are occupied and you get good FPS. For most games however a lot of the CU just sit there doing no work while running at full speed.

And that's not the case with any other divergent uarch? How well does Nvidia do (even with Turing coissue) with concurrent graphics/compute load, esp given RTX needs to leverage DX12.

As for Adored, his Scottish brogue is grating for those unaccustomed. Tech level is on par with the rest of the youtube set. Reinventing the wheel via another platform. I can imagine the Brent Justice/Kyle Bennett channel as Good Cop/Grumpy Cop(TM).

I think he did this review video well. He's the more technical aspect of it all. He goes over the architecture and its short comings etc.. that kind of review. His leaks though are kinda off sometimes but by and large.. they are mostly accurate.

Its like when VII was being planned.. I knew about a 7nm Vega consumer GPU back in late October. This was before he even said anything on this. My AMD source said RTG was "locked down" on talking about anything on it. It was a rushed card. Simple as that. It showed.

Got that right... well, mostly. There's toxicity on both sides of the fence. There's plenty of fanboys for AMD, nVidia, Intel, Apple, etc... to go around... and plenty of people who hate them to match. But yes,i choose to slat the AMD/Nvidia hypocrisy. Some of the AMD users have such hypocrite mind over nvidia (thanks to biased YouTuber and brainwashing videos without pointing in both direction). There's no hypocrisy against AMD from nvidia fanboys. But the hypocrisy against nvidia is mind boggling. Also AMD fanboys tend to spread waaaay more misconception than nvidia fanboys.
