Ads on TPU?

So why are we now getting ads that can lead to potentially unwanted software on our computers on TPU?

i feel rather stupid cause i was dumb enough to click it and it did have TPU colors, didn't read it till after i had clicked it, thought it was a new msg system or something. anyone else have this?

Actually there's been ads there for quite some time. What is the problem? Do you like to click on ads?

I viewed the techpowerup home page on Firefox and Chrome, and I did not see any ads at all.

i use adblock and noscript, and the banner protection of kaspersky i forgot there were ads on the internet at all for the longest time, lol

I don't have ads on TPU because I use foof! for Firefox.
