AFAIK there is NO raid controller that supports TRIM at all when the SSDs are in the raid.

As, of this second there is no raid controller that supports the passing of trim commands to SSDs in a RAID array, from the OS, only SSDs not part of the RAIDed array get them.

SuperTalent Whitepaper quote:
"Another important limitation of TRIM is that it only works on discrete SSDs, not on SSDs in a RAID array."

Now OCZ makes some Z-Drives with garbage collection, here is a couple examples:

OCZ SLC Z-Drive R2 e88 PCI-Express SSD
OCZ MLC Z-Drive R2 p88 PCI-Express SSD

But there is a little thing with the cost:OCZ Z-Drive R2 E88 OCZSSDPX-ZD2E88512G PCI-E x8 512GB PCI Express SLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)

This one is a little less:OCZ Z-Drive R2 P88 OCZSSDPX-ZD2P881T PCI-E 1TB PCI Express MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)
