I am new to PC building and have come up with a build I think will work, I am just wondering if all the components will mesh together well. ( Also feel free to give me some advice about parts)

Current Build
- Intel I5 2500k 3.3 GHz Sandy Bridge
- EVGA 012-P3-1570-AR GeForce GTX 570 (Fermi) 1280MB 320-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card
- CORSAIR Enthusiast Series TX750M 750W ATX12V v2.31 / EPS12V v2.92 80 PLUS BRONZE
- Western Digital Caviar Black WD5002AALX 500GB 7200 RPM SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive -Bare Drive
- RAIDMAX SMILODON Extreme Black ATX-612WEB 1.0mm SECC Steel ATX Mid Tower Foldout MB Computer Case
- SAMSUNG 22X DVD Burner SATA Model SH-222BB/BEBE - OEM
- CORSAIR Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9
- GIGABYTE GA-Z68XP-UD3 LGA 1155 Intel Z68 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard
- Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 64-bit - OEM
- OCZ Agility 3 AGT3-25SAT3-120G 2.5" 120GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)
- COOLER MASTER Hyper 212 EVO RR-212E-20PK-R2 Continuous Direct Contact 120mm

P.S. : Is this a OK setup for a new builder

- Thanks for reading

Only thing I would change is the os to Professional. Why?
Well lets say you get giddy and find a good deal on ram, you want 16gb of ram! Awesome! now your board supports 32GB of ram, and for some weird reason you managed to get 32gbs of ram. Oh wait, the OS doesn't support 32gbs, it's showing 16.

:)
But to me, everything else looks pretty good. May want to look at a 7xxx series ati card instead of the 5xx nvidia but again it is preference.

I would look for a different case as there are much better options in that price range.

Recommended options:
- bottom mounted PSU
- top mounted fans
- 8 expansion slots
- opening in m/b tray for cooler installation

Potential candidates (what area are you from? USA, EU, etc..):
Cooler Master Storm Scout or 690 II
Corsair 400R
*note- some Lian-Li cases (which are very good btw) are 20% off this month w/free shipping (don't know if US only?)

I would go with what norton is saying, that raidmax is crap! A good budget case would be the NZXT Source 210 elite :)

might want to look into a different SSD than the agility, they have the weakest performance when full compared to most other SSDs (save for the crucial m4, thats about the same)

All for going with the 2500K. Best bang for the buck CPU out there. Still.

But you might think about spending a little extra for the GPU. If you're going to spend over $300 on a 570, you could step up to a 670 for less than a $100 more and get 25% more performance.

Here are a couple of links that show what I am talking about. Look at the results for 50% full.

I just ordered one of these, there also is this, considered one of the fastest drives (I still went for corsair for price and it's probably the 2nd fastest).

Ditch SSDs, getting a GTX 670 is more significant than getting an SSD. Especially in gaming.

I absolutely agree with this. SSD would be nice, but putting the money into a better GPU is always a good idea.

EDIT: Wow, you can get a F3 drive for $90 right now at newegg. That's a pre-flood price! I have had one for a year as my boot drive.
