Advice for Backup/play build.

I am building this PC for backing up files(secondary backup as i already have a externalHDD) and something for the wife to play around on because she is tired of her lappy. I do not know much about a lot of the lower end CPU/Mobo parts especially. I am hoping this is sufficient. We will be playing EQ2 and possibly some other similar games. I would like to be able to run some decent graphics without much cost. Additionally I am not looking to spend any more if possible. Please some of you more experienced and advanced builders let me know what you think.

With the knowledge that I have I would like to say I did a fair job. Let me know if you have any suggestions. Please keep in mind A LOT of these threads turn into 100 suggestions saying "If you just spent a little more on this" and it ends up being 150.00 or more in total cost. So please try to keep it cheap and thanks again!

Have you considered building around 750K instead? Its a bit more expensive (~$20 with motherboard), but you get something more than twice as powerful. Major downside is that it will take slightly more power, and costs $20 more (with the MSI A55-P33 mobo). my $0.02

Have you considered an AMD APU instead of a CPU + GPU combo? The high end A10-6800k is a bit below a 7770, but you can always add a dedicated GPU later. Should save you a few bucks too.

Also, be sure to check for combo deals. Should be able to find enough combos to take her out for dinner on the same budget.

I'm not an expert, altho I've built quite a few systems, but I don't see anything glaringly wrong with your buildout for basic use and backup. Eventually tho, depending on what you're backing up, you'll want more storage space, I'm sure.

I'm sure others will have more respected opinions than mine.

No, simply because I have always had a dedicated GPU, and I just like it that way. But thank you! I sure hope I hit a homer with the combo deals!!

also i have added monitor for around 120$ cause acer you have choosed isnt included in pcpartpicker's list
