Advice on a New GPU

Hi everybody, I’m new in this forum and I have a simple question. With my i5-7500 (a little overclocked via base clock) can I pair a Nvidia RTX 2060 or something like a GTX 1660 Ti? Actually I’m playing esports titles like Rainbow Six Siege and other games like Fortnite and Apex.
I have a 1080p 60Hz monitor and mainly I want to upgrade because my 1050 ti is nowadays not the best choice for 1080p and I would something that doesn’t need to upgraded for at least 3-4 years. Will it be a good combo or I will suffer of a Heavy bottleneck?

Well since you probably will be using v-sync @ 60fps you'll be fine.

If you plan on buying a 144Hz(+) monitor then the i5 can become a bottleneck.

I already watched it and cause of this I’m asking if is better the 2060 or the 1660 ti assuming that my cpu 99% will bottleneck maybe a bit or more

With that CPU and display, you can go with a 2070 and not be CPU bottlenecked. For an example, I'm currently running a Xeon X5680 with an RTX 2080 and dual 1440P displays and the the CPU is only just barely bottlenecking the GPU. Granted, I have two additional cores, but most games don't care that much.

Maybe but at the moment I think it won’t be a balanced config with such a powerful GPU and an i5

Ok but supposing that there will be bottleneck with my cpu if I won’t use v-sync is better the gtx 1660 ti or the 2060?

Ah, but think of the future. IF you get a beefy GPU now, a 6core CPU upgrade later on will make more sense. If you can afford it, don't limit yourself.

Generally always get the highest performing gpu you can afford unless your cpu is a potato such in your case it isn't so buy the highest tier you can afford
