Advice on a new monitor

Been thinking lately of upgrading my seven year old Dell monitor for gaming. I'll take suggestions and opinions from all as I have little experience in this area. Looking at something like this... ASUS VG278HE Black 27" 2ms (GTG) HDMI Widescreen L... ...I'm not looking for 3D, but something nice and that will do me for many more years to come. Wondering how much better FC3 will look on a monitor such as this one. Only other criteria is it must be at least 24". I'm currently using two GTX 460's SLI and they do have the DVI ports.
