Advice on new PSU around £90 (Looking to SLI some 460s or 560s later on)

Hey Guys, I got a good offer for my current PSU, so I thought now might be the time to upgrade to something I can carry over to my next build, where I hope to SLI some 560s (when they come out) later on in the year, any suggestions? Looking to spend around £90 (student on a tight budget!)

thermaltake toughpower 750w would be good or maybe a ocz stealth 700w would be abit cheaper at about £70

The ones above I'd worry about, especially the OCZ.

I was wondering about the XFX 850w Core Edition, seems to have got good reviews (http://www.scan.co.uk/products/850w...bronze-85-eff-sli-crossfire-eps-12v-135mm-fan) or their 750w Modular version: (http://www.scan.co.uk/products/750w...silver-88-eff-sli-crossfire-eps-12v-135mm-fan)

Do you guys reckon a decent 750w be enough to run a decent Sandy Bridge setup with SLI 460s or 560s + 3 hard drives, an SSD and ODD? or do I need to expand my budget?

@ JrRacinFan: Id like to aim a lil bit higher than 650w as thats what I'm upgrading from (rig in sys. specs), but I'm definately liking the looks of that ToughPower XT 775w

@ Acid888: I do like the 850w TX but its a lil out of my budget, I'll see if i can find it cheaper elsewhere

Wow! Didn't notice you had that power supply(I know I should read current specs more often :banghead:

). I'd focus more on other parts with your money. Your current 650W is just as nice as the Tt.

Thats cool man, no worries

I do like my current PSU, but im not sure it'll be enough to handle an SLI setup later on down the line, and it is a couple of years old...
I've been offered £40 for it, which I thought was good considering I paid £65-70 2 years ago. I'd rather not keep it then not be able to sell it later on when I might need to upgrade to a better one?

I know that your supposed to take PSU calculators with a pinch of salt but I used the Thermaltake Power Supply Calculator and it said id be using over what my PSU is rated for if I went SLI with current steup :S Thats my main reason for wanting to upgrade my PSU tbh

Yeah, if you already got a buyer lined up for it. Then by all means, DO IT! Just go 600W+ decent build quality and you will be A-ok.
