This basically started when I replaced my dead ASUS Sabertooth X99 with MSI X99A Gaming 7, but I've really narrowed it down now.
When I run 3DMark Stability test (Firestrike Extreme), somewhere at around 3/4 through the test, screen simply goes blank (I get a NO SIGNAL message on it, so it's not monitor at fault I think). System seems to be running, but isn't responding. If I press RESET, it takes several seconds before it restarts. Which kinda indicates that it's not just graphic card that loses the signal or whatever.
I've tried setting everything to stock, CPU, RAM and graphic card and same thing happens. When I changed motherboard I did use Refresh function in Windows just to be sure it's all installed clean even though there is no real need since it's the same chipset, but still.
So far this only seem to happen either during long plays of Killing Floor 2 or this stability test in 3DMark. However, it managed to complete fine once with 99% framerate quality. CPU is 100% stable even after 10 loops of RealBench H.264 tests. So, I'm kinda confused now...
I think I can also rule out heat, because I now have fans set way higher on the fan curve than before during load events.
Gonna clean re-install drivers again, but I don't think this is it. I'll also run music in backgroud to see if it continues to play or locks up when this happens.
Any ideas what else to check out or poke?
