So I'm in need of some new IEMs! My budget is around £60, and from the couple of threads I've read so far seems there's some great value options available compared to when I bought the Customs (July last year). I really want another pair of IEMs because earbuds just fall out when I'm riding my bike (the creative EP-630's for example).

I mainly listen to hip hop and trance so bass is paramount, this is an area where the custom 1's excelled. So far I've considered the Etymotic mc5's and the Klipsch s4's? But are the S4's buds or IEMs? Anyway I'd love your input, gonna read through a few more threads for ideas, cheers!!!

EDIT, been considering some custom 2's for £63, but I'm sure there's something newer and better out there (been outta the loop for a while)

I have the Sennheiser SE115K's and I feel they are very good! I listen to trance and I have found them to be good. The Etymotic MC5's I have heard and have heard good things about.

I think this question should be directed to http://www.head-fi.org/. I tried to ask that question half a year ago, but got minimal reply here. Have you considered Etymotics ER-6i?

Head Fi is probably the best place to ask this.

A quick note [with respect to the poster who suggested it] on the ER-6i: it's an excellent IEM product but possibly disqualified since you like bass. It produces great sound for the price and offers excellent isolation, and the bass is responsive and tight, but would probably have to be EQ'd up significantly to fit your preferences. I went from EP-630s to the ER-6i and really noticed the lack of bass.

The MC5 will give you more gain in the bass range, out of the box.

The I have not heard the S4 but the X10's little brother the X5 have received a lot of good reviews and supposedly sounds a lot like the X10s, but with slightly less bass. If you want good bass you could try and get a set of refurbed Sennheiser IE7s they are quite cheap.
