I am interested in swapping the leafblower out. I want to add a quieter after market cooler to my 2900xt, but have only found the thermalright HR 3. I was wondering if I could use the Zalman VF1000 with additional ram sinks? I know the VF1000 is listed as not compatible, but is that really true. Do you guys have any ideas or opinions? Personal experiences?

they are the pointy kind of ramsinks so you can probably shorten the tips with plyers if you run into any clearance problems.
