aftermarket cooling for a gt240

I have a gt240 that use for physx and I want to throw some aftermarket cooling on it.

Needs to be under 50 bucks.

heres the card
XFX GT240XYAFC GeForce GT 240 512MB 128-bit DDR3 P...

I want something thats dark or nickle plated

here are some of the ones I was thinking about, not sure if they will fit it or not

Zalman GV1000

Zalman vf2000<---Im leaning towards this one, quad heatpipe and not a bad size.

Theres other coolers too like the xigmateck bitfrost but not sure if its a 2 or 3 slot cooler. Cant be over a 2 slot, maybe just a tiny bit like 2 and 1/4 but thats it.

Any suggestions

PS, why do I ever post in other forums. They always become crap fest, like "why you want to cool a physx card." Dont think about the reasoning, I just want to cool it better. Im talking about this ---> LINK

Definate overkill, but for what it is worth, the Zalman GV1000 is smexy!!!/

Yeah, Zalman GV1000 is good. Had 2 of those before, cooling my 8800GT SLi. Pretty silent, and good looking. 30 degree drop from stock slim type coolers

there shouldnt be any clearance issues with the gv1000 right? Would look pretty pimp next to my vf3000a.

None. It consumes two slots, does not impede any pci socket, and is not too high vs the pcb,

step 1 buy MtDew ( in cans)
Step 2 Drink Mt.Dew
Step 3 clean and polish can
step 4 afix can to gpu die with at least 4 zipties and possiably some ducktape and some cheap thermal paste
step 5 fill can full of water
6 enjoy supply of hotwater to make moar caffeinated beverages from

looks like my best bet is gonna be the vf950. the gv1000 will hang past the card a little too much, the vf2000 is too tall and will end up hitting my psu (I think). Plus the vf950 is about 10 bucks cheaper then the rest and should do a hell of alot better job cooling the gt240 then the stock chunk of aluminum that comes with it.

the vf950 doesnt fit, there are the big old style bulky capacitors in the way. Maybe the vf900 will.
