I have a 9800se vid card and a p4s800 asus motherboard. When I start up Catalyst Control Center it always says that my agp is disabled in the smartgart section. I have tried to activate it, it asked me to restart, i did, and it still says disabled. What is the problem and solution? Is it my motherboard or my videocard. Thanks in advance.

check your motherboard drivers and bios. maby there is a confliction.

like i said check your drivers and see if it gets fixed by newer drivers. also post a screenshot of ccc so i know exactly what is wrong

you need your motherboard`s agp driver.now the card is working in pci mode.

you need to up date your chipset drivers/controllers. GO to ASUS website do search for your motherboard/downloads & get the latest chipset DRIVERS
