I am looking to make a budget gamer with an AMD 965 BE. I normally just do all-in-one liquid coolers. I'm looking at the Tt Water 2.0 Performer for $70 (50 after rebate). I'm hoping to pinch some pennies and suck it up with a terrible looking air cooler (they're ugly to me). Any suggestions on coolers?

The TT performs very well for the money. Not a bad review.

Yeah, I saw some reviews that looked really good for it. On the Overclockers club review it was tied with the CM 212+ cooler. It's $40 cheaper than the Tt and I'm trying to save as much as I can for my budget gamer build. I just haven't used air coolers in years and not sure which one to get. There are 2 versions of the 212 I see for example (+ and evo).

Here's a link to show the comparison between the Hyper 212+ and the EVO

Main difference is the heat pipes being squished together on the EVO yet apparently there is only a couple of degrees less in difference.
