I just noticed from your other related thread

that your radiator is not correctly oriented. The couplings should be at the bottom of a vertically mounted radiator.

This GamersNexus video -- while focusing on AIO coolers -- is valid for custom loops:

This is likely contributing to your air gap problems.
Yeah that's to help save pumps on an aio from dying early
But frankly with most aio's with 5 year warranties it's a non issue if it fails during the five years rma and get a new.

But yes air will be in a place where it shouldn't get sucked back into the loop
Not really a good thing though copper gets funky unless it's filled matter of fact look at any copper roof green growth looks like op is using distilled water to hopefully with biocide and inhibitor products added or maybe op is using ek fluid.

Nobody should be running a loop without a corrosion inhibitor +biocide unless they plan on changing their fluid and cleaning the loop regularly anyhow. Any premix from a reputable brand should do, or distilled with a concentrate added. But the green on copper roofs isn't growth, it's corrosion, and unless the loop has a continuous flow of new oxygen (or mixed metals), no significant corrosion should happen - what little oxygen is in the fluid + what is in the trapped air will soon be spent, and corrosion will stop. The real danger is galvanic corrosion from mixed metals, which can continue long enough to clog things. But most corrosion inhibitors can deal well with that too these days.

Hi,
Last I read op said he has plenty of distilled water.

True, but having lots of water and wanting to change it often are two different things. Considering the hassle of bleeding this loop, I'd assume they want to keep it in use for a long time between fluid changes.

Yea, a pita tiny loop like this makes a good case for a strong ass coolant so you reduce the coolant changes. I wouldn't wanna be servicing the fluid on this thing yearly, no way.

That's a large part of why I got QDCs for mine. I can just unclip them, hook up a spare pair to drain, then hook up my old pump/res combo externally to flush, refil, and bleed. Without QDCs this would be a nightmare.

Yea sure but not in a tiny ass build though. I never roll w/o QDCs otherwise. That said, I've outgrown the tiny ass build phase though lol.

Huh? I'm using the Meshlicious, same case as the OP. No problem fitting the Alphacool QDCs in there.

I literally can't get Koolance or Alphacool parts without shipping them from Amazon US which costs around $100 just for shipping. EKs are toss in the air and they cost around 5x of what I would pay for an alternative. By looking at it and having a feel of their fittings, most likely the normal fittings EK have came from the same manufacturer from Byksi/Barrow.

I'm using a coolant with biocide from Bykski as well. You have to wait 2 weeks for this for every bottle. Importing certain amounts of liquids from a different country is a big no-no.

Here are some tools that I have for filling and draining. I can do it in a few minutes with these.

Since I already have custom cables. I used the stock cables for strating the pump. I simply disconnect the 24 pin and attach these.

With that said, after building in the Messylicious, I cant justify building in a normal case anymore. I don't chase overclocking records. The temps are decent and the build experience is challenging.

Shoutout to that Arctivc P14 fan though. I cant hear it even if I blast it at 100% and it sure does push a lot of air.
