If you are into military simulators, look for a simulator called LockOn, you will fly missions with A-10s, F-15s, Su-27s, Mig-29s, and SU-25s, I think it is the last good simulator you will find, as no game publisher seems to support simulators anymore, all they do is publish FPS games these days... :(

You should try out freespace 2 if you can find it somewhere. Possibly ebay? It's not exactly a "flight simulater" more like a space simulater. But it's great fun.

get your hands on 'heroes of the pacific'.
while it by no means should be considered a 'flight sim', its basically an arcade action style of game with world-war 2 plane dressing, but its just so immensly fun!

Nice list Urlyin!
Oh, I see ATF is in the list, I used to have it until a friend "borrowed" it and lost it, I have never seen it again since... wouldn't run on windows 98 anyway... :(
Dunno if LockOn is on sale anymore, but you should definitely check it if you have a chance, it's more like those old school flightsims, like EF2000 or Falcon 4.0 (two very good sims btw may I add) hope you can find it :)

I only played USNF and ATF, but I loved them! :) They were a bit on the arcade side of simulators (there wasn't so much difference between the flight model of a B-2 and that of an F/A-22, or between the A-6's and the F/A-18's :p ) but the sheer amount of flyable planes and the included encyclopaedia found in ATF more than made up for this :)
Good to know some of us still like simulators :) At least we can still play the Ace Combat series on the PS2

Combat Simulator 3 is pretty good for WW2 combat :)

Im not really into WW2 games though, im waiting for a modern one with FA22/F117/B2. That will be SWEET.

Falcon 4.0, Lockon, Pacificfighters, IL2, all great sims. Too bad I'm always playing something else instead. Been meaning to get brushed up on falcon4 since it got released 10? years ago.

Actually, no but close. Falcon:Allied Force is the successor, and it has tons of support and updates. It is a glorified update of Falcon 4.0 with high res textures and as much realism in the algorithms your CPU can chew through.
