Like most, I'm one that don't even use a DVD Drive or anything of that nature. I have a USB Blu-ray drive, but I just don't use it unless I am going to run Memtest...


So... Worth the try? I can't since I have a HP Touchsmart Tm2... But, who wants to try?

They're essentially the same device, IIRC Mussels says he has used one for a few years now. Funny how they push the product in an era where fewer and fewer laptops are sold with DVD drives.

Yep... I remember when I bought this Tm2... I thought I needed a drive... it was my only draw back... spending that much money for something without it... Bought that Asus blu-ray writer... I don't think I've ever hooked it to the lappy in the two years I've had it.. But, I have yet to find a Lappy worth the buy..


I believe it's more for those that need that extra room..
