Akasa displayed its newest line of enthusiast-segment PSUs, Venom Power XT. The 80 Plus Gold-certified line of ATX v2.3 PSUs will initially include two high capacity models, 850W and 1000W. The PSUs feature swanky new chassis design, and are cooled by the same Viper 135 mm fan that other Venom Power models use. Internally, Venom Power XT features a dual-12V rail design, a suite of protection mechanisms, and of course, Active PFC. The PSUs are partially modular, with a few essential cables such as 24-pin ATX, 4-pin / 8-pin ATX/EPS, and a pair of PCI-Express connectors being fixed. Additional pairs of PCI-Express power connectors, SATA, Molex, and Berg connectors will be modular.
