me too, i was actually going to buy this for PC - now they get no sale. if my 360 didn't rrod 3 separate times, I might have considered buying a second... but i've been happier with the ps3 than EVER with the 360.

And i take the bashing seriously a lot of the time, and little ''sarcastic'' comments like that can get to me sometimes, because its the same people that generally can't back it up with shit.(besides spewing the same nonsensical trash about the platform or twisting peoples words around thinking there edgy and cool.)

well what else is left to be said? the core issue here IS "Console Vs PC" , and microsoft/remedy made it the issue!

I can see the issue with sarcasm/off topic , etc - but our community is a bit more mature than that, over 95% of it anyway. you , me , and mailman are part of that group. we may get off topic, but very rarely revert to flame wars or straight out mayhem.

and seriously, I own a WII for christ's sake. I have no problem with consoles, they all have their place - but without a doubt in mine or any rational mind,PC can do more, better - you just have to be semi-intelligent, and not extremely lazy. you'll be hard pressed to find a majority here who disagree, i think.

it depends on the mood i'm in, but i definitely do not see them as equal.
except for exclusives, the pc can do everything and more than a console. right there it wins.

consoles can be used to watch movies, check online, and play console games. that's it.

as far as gaming specifically, PC has more good games than any and all consoles, as the few true exclusives there are don't make up for the many pc exclusives, the better graphics, and the better options for control.

I just don't see how consoles are anything close to PCs - they have a few redeeming features, but for all intents and purposes are nowhere near the level of PC.

the ONLY reason they are so huge, is that gaming isn't very hard. a lot of people aren't very smart (heck, 49% are below average

... and most people are lazy.

And in some cases and surveys they acttualy have failer rates hit above 70% with the same people getting mulitiple dead 360s in the same replys :shadedshu.

Alan Wake will NOT be on the PC, REASON #2

"Frankly, we're a small studio. We're 50 people, and being a small studio, it makes a lot more sense for us to focus on one platform," said Remedy's Oskari Häkkinen.

"Saying that Alan Wake is best played of a sofa with 5.1 surround and a big TV screen, I think is more of a preference than anything else," head of the Alan Wake franchise Häkkinen stated, rejecting Microsoft's flimsy explanation. "We're not going out there to say that PC gamers can't enjoy it from their own PC set-up. We're certainly not saying that. We have a strong heritage in PC gaming as well."
