Atleast the cooling is nice now. Before when I saw quad sli with air cooling it burned my eyes because the intakes for the fans were choked from the cards being so close together. Although I do agree, overkill. Although Dell will probably take this design since they bought out Alienware.

PCI-E variants of the 6800GS dont have any pipes or vertex units to unlock. only AGP variants.

Yeah my dad showed me an article on it a week or two ago. I guess Dell was too lazy to design their own quality gaming machines so they bought somebody else that knew what they were doing. Given, Alienware is over priced, but they know what they're doing.

Well this is actually a gaming rig, in contrast to the Dell XPS which has an Intel processor which completely negates the quad sli.
