:laugh::laugh:

By supporting Apple you actually support one of the worst working conditions (Foxconn) and the Chinese which make the Apple products and by that you also support everything that is wrong in this world.

Please do not mix quality American engineering and companies who are only after huge profits (and margins) whatever the cost is.
You should support companies who work with smaller margins but don't move their manufacturing process abroad.
And Toyota shouldn't even be in that text.

Yes because Apple controls the Chinese worker conditions. Please get off your guilt trip theoretical reasons as to why Apple makes the world worse. Profit margins drive every successful buisiness in the world.

Yes because they actually do, when was the last time you heard reports of horrible working conditions on HP's, Dell's... part of the factory? They are bad no doubt but it seems Apple has the lead here.
These are not theoretical reasons, it is happening, you only need to open your eyes and read.

So you agree with these practices of moving the manufacturing to China? That isn't exactly a definition of quality engineering.
You don't see car manufacturers moving their production lines to China, or any other product where quality is critical.

Profit margins are important but how important are they really? Are they so important that you sacrifice the life of the workers?

Dell and HP combined aren't worth Apple's iPhone buisiness. That's why you don't hear anything. Yeah, I wonder why we don't hear about any of their production faults...

There would be reports of workers dying from exhaustion.
Funny that from everything I've written you reply to one line.

By my definition of success Apple should also employ Americans (and if abroad, you should pay your workers decently and treat them as humans).

A story of success would be a company like Boeing.

I despise any company who treats their workers as shit.

So you're actually saying that everything I've said is FUD and Apple pays their workers $1000 each :wtf:

And you seem to also approve slavery (which IMO those workers are), let me ask you a question:
Would you work 12 hour (or longer) shifts with no rest and barely any food for $1?

its the same companies that build for dell, hp and apple, the reason for focusing on apple is the brand awareness they got. Poor working conditions are common with all computer HW industry.

no, apple is a shitty company because of their behavior, patent trolling, compleet diregard for the laws in the land they sell their products, exuberant price gouging and their user base (how do you know if a person has a macbook /macbook pro? they tell you)

ass for the apple TV, not a bad idea and with their tight iteration it could be nice (for those that already are encapsulated in the apple walled garden). But they are probably going to claim that their product wast the first of its kind, witch would be wrong.

a lot of people rightly associate the apple logo with quality and reliability. that is why they have become so successful.

I used to think of Apple records that the Beatles had...And yes they sued them too.:toast:

All I want for Christmas is peace and no one getting shot by a madmen with mental problems....Sandy Hook.......

As for the TV bit ..Really Why is Apple hitting this market....The companion thing also....I could just use my TV and Blu-Ray player for what they want.

I'll give you reliable but quality is often questionable. Also overpriced but I guess less knowledgeable consumers are willing to pay for a name.

iPhone 5 has a $199 BOM but costs a lot more unless you get it subsidized by the carrier with a contract.

Apple was a great american success story. Look what they have become now. They have a patent on rectangles with rounded corners.

Hey you don't have to tell me. I am one of the few who actually supports Apple around here against the tired, misinformed general hate. Partly because they deserve it based on their products, partly because I have made a living supporting primarily Macs since 1997.

Also, had I a bit more foresight when I had a free $10K in 2003...I should have spent it all on stock. Had I held and sold right after the iPhone 5 dropped when it hit $700 a share I would have made a half a million bucks.

I associate the apple logo with everything that is wrong with this country.

That's a pretty ridiculous statement.

(Sorry I am quoting these so late in thread...was at work).

Don't try and argue with an Apple user, they can't hear you over the sound of their iPod.

You sound as snooty and lame as them just on the opposite spectrum.

As for the shit about workers HELLO it was FOXCONN. Boycott everything they make before you talk shit about Apple in this regard. And good luck with that...

... No, but I agree, an Apple TV would be great to have this season.

And a girlfriend.

the thing i like about apple TV (the only thing really) is that it can mirror the image from an iDevice wirelessly. thats pretty convenient for a lot of uses, gaming and media wise.

I am surprised you took anything I said seriously.

Just make sure to pay your rent before you go out and get the iPhone 6 please.
I pay $800 a month in taxes so that people like my sister in law (who I spoke about earlier) can live off the state and still afford the iPhone 4s and its subsequent data plan.

Apple are bad and should feel bad. But they're stinking rich because people enjoy fashion, and that is simply what Apple have become. A Fashion. That's why you have people in AMERICUH living off of state with iphones, and we have scumbags in england living off state benefits with an iphone 4s and an iphone 5 in each pocket, incapable of using the god awful earphones apple provided, forcing me to listen to the tinny sound of their repetative unimaginative music.
People steal Apple headphones to use in their non Apple products to make them look good. How sad is that? They arent even good headphones!
Yes they made computers easier to use for spastics in every country, and they make said spastics pay through the teeth for such equipment with subpar specs. Because people like fashion, and there is nothing we can do about it other than not buy their old polished hardware and purchase something sensible for our tastes.

Reasons 3870x2 hates Apple:

  • Chinese workers work too many hours.
  • 3870x2's sister-in-law takes welfare yet has an iPhone 4S.

Can you think of some more things that provide reasoning for you to hate Apple? You are really on a roll with this...:wtf:
