Yeah I remember that.

It had extra fan holes and stuff like that. You even tried to get rid of the Acer logo, lol.

you're gonna be in surprise real soon. just setting the acrylic and painting is left. can't seem get good scratch free acrylic here.

How bad are the scratches das.dude? We can get rubbing compound for plastics here at most auto parts place and some hardware stores, does the trick on stuff that isn't too bad. Some places even sell "headlight restoration" kits... Maybe you can find something like that? :eek:

I always keep a few OEM's around. Particularly fond of the old dc5100 MT and the dc5800 MT series from HP/Compaq. Solid paint jobs.

I rebuilt my stepdad's OEM PC with a bunch of custom parts. New motherboard, ram, cpu, cooler... so I guess you could call that a custom build in an OEM case.

kits are expensive. the problem is there arent any retailers of acrylic. all i can buy is left over pieces from the large stuff that people use to make illuminated boards. still im still searching. well my dad is
