This is my AM3 combo I ran as a HTPC for a while. Its a great combo for light gamer and can be upgraded to a 1100T 6 core. This is a complete drop in combo for an upgrade project or HTPC.

The board supports AM3.

The board is a CM and not the EM ;)

I am not comprehending the confusion here? :confused:

ASUS states on their site the board is AM3 after a BIOS flash.

The board is a AM2+ 780G that has the latest bios flashed to it which supports the highest of AM3 chips. This board is a 140W compliance board so can OC slightly (Had a 940BE at 3.6ghz). The CPU is a AM3 CPU which is linked below.

If anyone has a reasonable offer I will be open to them via PM.
