i had an idea that if sum1 found a really amazing deal on any piece of hardware they could post it here. for example markkleb found this awesome psu for only 10 bucks with free shipping!!

It sounds like a great idea to me, but it would probably need its own section on the forums with 3 sub headers 'UK based deals' & 'US based deals' and 'other' (for the rest of the world)

Don't buy right away, if you read the rebate form, you have to buy it with an XFX 6800GS to get your $50 back. Read the fine lines...

2- 6 pin conn
24 pin mobo
and the flat silver UV wires. Plus it has a lifetime guarantee if you register it at Ultra

Now I wouldnt use it with 2 power hog VC like the X1800 or 1900 but COME ON $10 for a Ps

There were two rebate forms that I saw, one was UL-2513 and one was UL-2514. One said it was a combo with XFX and the other one was just a PSU. I bought it anyway. Are you gonna get it Andrew? Was that right? Is that your name?

Woo! but no point in spending $200 for 2 grapgics card right now, so hopefully nVidia will have 2 mid-range graphics cards like the 7600's and doesn't take much power when DX10 comes out.

yea, thats it. i got one too, and my forms do not mention anything about a combo, so i'm pretty sure we'll be ok. and yea, it'll pwn for two 7600's. they don't use external connectors anyways, right? even tho the psu supports two pci-e plugs for otherwise.

i don't think i'm even going to use it in my main rig, because i have a modular one, and i don't need all the wires. kind of want to make it an experiment one, ie open up the psu and do something to the wires. the front bay/baby oil psu mod sounds like it would be cool, but that would make me ruin the ooh so shiny psu case on this one. maybe i'll do that to my antec... oh how i love deals!

Well, I needed a power supply right now because my Antec broke and I'm using a PSO PSU with 18A on 12v rail! Read my system specs, the Ultra should power it all fine right?

yea, aljon, it's working pretty sweet. it's not all new tho, the mobo and case are the actually new things. it all started from an emachines base, and i've been adding from there. got some lights in there, fan controller, and want to mod a top exhaust, but i need something to cut it with!

dealnews.com is a pretty good site, but usually when a deal is there, it's already expired or sold out. and lots of the stuff is carp. but it's cheap!
