Hello,

This is a first for me and ive never experienced this before:

Yesterday I overclocked by 940 to 3.6G by changing the multi to 18x200=3600
Temps idle reading 40c
Temps load reading 55c

Not bad.

TODAY, I put the multi back to 15 and alter the FSB (to raise ht link and mem)

Same Overclock but with a raised HT and BINGO!!!

Idle temps 37c
Full load 47.5c

WOW.

Could it be the ArcticMX-2 tim has settled or do these 940BE chips hate the Multi being altered ???

My 3D Mark06 and Vantage scores have gone up too (HT increase i guess).

What a day I'm having:laugh:

This is my current clock cant say that the temp was different when I just overclocked the multi. It only broke in the 50's when my room temp was hot. That reminds me need a room temp monitor :D

In the memory page on CPU-Z your HT is higher than on the CPU page ???

Did you set that in the BIOS and did you have to up the voltage on the NB ?

1. I dont understand HT is not displayed on the memory page.

2. Yes I set the number in the BIOS for my NB VID to 11 which is 1.33V
