That's what I've been reading. Not sure what that Cap actually does. From what I've read (don't know if it's true or not) real performance increases are coming with Cat 10.12.

It did increase my score but just by 5 points.
Better than nothing though I assume

I was hoping that if the increases where large enough perhaps something would trickle down for single gpu users. Oh well, lets see what 10.12 does...

I hope your right! Last night while running the Mark11 test I felt up my gpu, :laugh:

.. and I wasnt surprised the second gpu was cool compared to the other core.
Id expect better scores but I guess time will tell.

with onboard ati chipset 880gx just using 2 8800gt in sli with hack drivers would i benefit upgrading to the newer ati sb chipset drivers ?

Hmm, I honestly don't know about that one. For chipset drivers/onboard graphic drivers I would wait for whql releases. Unless there is specific information about the chipset portion in a hotfix. Even then I'm not sure if you will gain anything.

I always do. I never had any issues at all by upgrading the chip set. :pimp:
