these APU's are catching up quick to their normal CPU counterparts (not their yet but compared to where FM1 was upon release... much closer)

this is a good direction for AMD, in a few years i see the bulldozer line going to server only and these hopefully up to par with intel and headed to enthusiast market

They have server apu's also.

AMD has a long term strategy to provide quality APUs for all segments of computing from portable devices to desktop to servers and beyond. These APUs will replace discrete CPU/GPU combos for the majority of people because they will provide equal or better performance at a lower cost using less power and producing less heat. This is a no brainer and AMD is literally changing the PC landscape as a result.

Kaveri will be AMD's first high-performance APU solution and a major step up in performance. It can't get here soon enough. If AMD had it available now they would reap fortunes. ;)

I think there will always be discrete graphics;mid-end and hi-end, but low end will definitely be over run by AMD.
