AMD has stopped working

Hi guys,

I just installed a new video card ASUS AEH5450 SILENT and since then my computer keep crashing. My goes black and I get the following error ''AMD has stopped working and has succefully recovered''. It's getting annoying and I tried different solution nothing worked so far. Uninstall & Install Driver, etc.

Any help, comments, suggestions would be appreciated.

do you unlock the cores? or try to slot the vga on the other slot then see does it return
try to make the bios to its default condition or resetting that

In all seriousness this error is because you didn't properly remove old drivers (at least thats what the interwebz told me).

Boot into safe mode and completely wipe the old drivers.

overheating is very likely. these fanless verisons assume you have a case fan blowing air past them.

Download a GPU stress test/benchmarking app like Furmark, or OCCT.
With OCCT, keep GPUZ open while running a remember the temperature it black screens at then let us know what the temperature was.

Otherwise try uninstalling your AMD drivers then use driver sweeper after wards to rid the system of any old driver remnants, then install the drivers again.

See if the issue persists after wards.

Dude, seriously. With a triple core CPU and 4GBs of RAM, a HD5450 is NOT the card for that system. All that extra power is wasted.

Get yourself something better.

As stated above, I believe this is an overheating issue. Ziptie a fan to the card and see if that helps. Ghetto mods FTW.

Yes, also, as mentioned before, make sure your case as good air circulation, remember the front fan should suck in cool air and the back fan should exhaust the hot air
