I'm not talking about NVIDIA, I'm talking about AMD. This is an AMD thread.
I notice you have GTX 480 as your primary GPU.

For a reference design, AMD must guarantee stability for all products under 7970GE SKU hence increasing the voltage and supporting practical 64bit DP FP performance is not free.
