Tons have it here, check out the threads on the 9950 and 9850 in this exact forum, those are pages long with a ton of good info.

Either way bump the HTT or the multi (your preference really) and see if you can hit 3.0ghz on stock voltages, if you can thats pretty good then inch it up from there and see how far you can get on stock volts.

A good stress test is Prime95.

Its seems like 3.2-3.3GHZ is the max burn in stable overclocks around here.

MIne is stable 24/7 at 3.2GHZ 1.475V, but I can run it with a 16.5 multi and be stable in gaming and everything else but wont do a few hours of OCCT. WHich what I use to confirm a stable OC.

It will easily do 15x multi on stock voltage though since your on stock cooling. If it fails give it 2+ACC on each core.

Its a powerful cpu, if you think about it was the top AMD chip 3months ago :)

PII FTW!

But srsly, why not just get a X3 720 and clock it to 3.8-3.9Ghz. Should easily make up for the one less core (of if you are lucky you may get a free one).

Check CPU speed. That is done @ 1.4V (3.43Ghz on 1.35V).
