Thanks alot and have a blessed day!

If you are going to go with the retail cooler, be sure to get the one with the heatpipes! The 9850's run pretty warm, and that is why they boxed them with the cooler with heatpipes. They actually work pretty fair, to be honest.

I had one, but since sold it......Wish I had another for ya:banghead:

I was kind of saving it in case my xiggy crapped out or I had to RMA my chip, but if you are in a bind...can't really find a price online, or maybe you have some games you are tired of?

Dust would come with no additional charge.

Oh yea, that's the puppy he needs for sure!!! they really are not bad coolers. Copper base with heat pipes to boot. Not par with most of the higher aftermarked coolers, but none the less pretty damn good.

Good post MT Alex!!!!!!!

Ive used that HSF before on some X2s and Opty's and all I can say is that fan is way too small, doesnt move enough air, and its loud. If I had to run it again I would mod a larger, quieter fan with more airflow, or just go aftermarket.

I never noticed the noise unless I went into the bios and disabled the auto fan control. Any how my Xiggy is louder. Frosty Tech used to have this cooler on his top ten list for quiet coolers.

I have to agree Onedub, with a larger fan, this would be a pretty damn good cooler!
