i recorded both timedemos myself during gameplay. the manual playback +fraps method introduces a lot of variations, and dont get me started on the way hardocp presents their benchmarks.

i hope you're not looking at 1024x768 which is quite cpu limited in most games

I Try to run my Games at native if possible, otherwise i try for Resolutions that match my Aspect Ratio, My Monitor is a 5:4 (1280x1024) and there arent many Aspects like that, I will upgrade to a 24" Monitor to support 1920x1200.

lol refunding my gtx 295 was very heartbreaking especially when I heard the 4890's fans.
