2) 1080Ti is an interesting fluke, since you can't even buy it (so, a downgrade in availability, cool times, eh?)

Just chatting, not objecting, peace & harmony.

That's just it - its not a fluke, there are cards with the plastic seals still on there in that pic I showed you, available from multiple sellers. So really, you can still buy 1080ti's that are literally unused at a price point similar to what they were at launch.

For a prospective buyer in my country this translates to the stagnation I am pointing out. And that is what happens if both players cannot keep moving up in performance - you get last year's performance resold to you at a premium - and AMD is guilty of that as well as Nvidia.

Oops I goofed a bit, I haven't follwed HW for quite some time in detail, seems like the card for me the AMD Radeon VII with 16GB HBM2 is already out for months, pricy indeed, won't be building a new PC this year anyway. I should have known that mainstream stuff is always delayed, entusiast level is always first.

1080p long long over for me, I'd never go back to a smaller than 32 inch monitor.

Benchmark Scores 3050 scores good 15-20% lower than average, despite ASUS's claims that it has uber cooling.

Which is... how much?
