Don't want to be that guy but they look awfully similar to Turing reference designs. And their aesthetic doesn't integrate well into built systems with the colours
ah yes, I too look at my graphics card while playing games

That "R" on the fans is kinda meh, they should've put the AMD logo instead.

Anyway, are the cards sporting a giant-ass vapor chamber or sth? I see no heatpipes.

Display connectors include two standard DisplayPorts, one HDMI, and a USB type-C port. Given the rest of the bracket is just metal, we feel like this is a missed opportunity to add another row of ports, at least another DisplayPort.
NO. Just no. First off, four ports is enough for >99.999% of users (and the majority of those wanting more would want more HDMI, not DP). Second, more ports would mean no option for a single-slot bracket for water cooling, which would be a crying shame. Four outputs is plenty, and the selection on offer here seems very well done.

I disagree. 3 DP monitors I think is a more common setup then a multiple HDMI input set up. I been running 3 DP monitors now for about 7 years (not the same 3 I have upgrade along the way). I would of rather then go the NVidia reference route of 3 DP and 1 HDMI since basically every VR headset uses HDMI or DP and not usb C and there no sign of that changing that why NVidia dropped it completely. I am fine with only having 4 ports through on the reference model for the single slot option like you said. There be partners model with additional ports am assuming for those that need more flexibility.

That being said the reference model would not work for my current setup of 3 DP monitors and a htc vive using the hdmi port so this is not even a option for me.

You can run 3 DP monitors, just get a cheap type-C-to-DP adapter. $15 gets you a perfectly decent one, and functionality-wise it'll be indistinguishable from a native DP port. Besides, saying that 3xDP setups are more common than dual HDMI setups? I don't know what world you live in, but the vast majority of PC users aren't that rich. Most multi-monitor setups are people who have bought a newer/better monitor and kept their old one, and no matter how crazy it is, HDMI monitors are still more common than DP monitors despite DP being both free and arguably better - and that has been true for a decade or more. There are also quite a few people with HDMI monitors + a HDMI TV nearby that they'd like the option to connect to. Of course, the $15 adapter argument works just as well with them, hence my ultimate point being that single-row I/O on GPUs is a feature, not a bug.

Well I stand corrected on how common HDMI is. Benchmark Scores I once clocked a Celeron-300A to 564MHz on an Abit BE6 and it scored over 9000.
The 2.5-slot vs 2-slot cooler is going to make a pretty substantial difference IMO.

Once you take the shroud, surround, and RADEON logo into consideration, the XT probably has twice the breathing room of the vanilla 6800 :|

HDMI became common on monitors long before DP - it made its way there as DVI was starting to get old, before DP saw any real adoption outside of the enterprise. And sadly we've been stuck with it since. It's only recently that cheap monitors have started to get DP ports at all, which is a crying shame.

This July? Then I'd advise to check with the manufacturer and ask if the G-sync module is compatible with Freesync. Iirc monitors released after Nvidia opened up G-sync module monitors to AMD cards (almost a year ago) might just work. Or maybe it was only for new models.
