If anyone can help me with a copy for '' AMD Radeon XFX RX 470 Black Edition 8Gb ''. I've been looking for her bios for 4 days and I only found 4gb and I need 8gb. I beg you with all my heart because the former owner confused the bios and didn't even save it....:respect::respect::respect::respect::respect::respect:

Well, it would be nice to ignore my fellow citizens ( i am also from Romania :) ).
Let me check what i can find for you

Edit: attached you will find the right BIOS files for your card.
Keep in mind that in normal condition i would recommend to open the card and check the memory chips,
because sometimes the GPU-z shows the manufacturer wrong because your current BIOS did not loaded correctly. Let's try with Hynix 1st.

Thank you, brother. I'm glad there are people with big hearts on this little earth. :toast:

The first one was already installed. The second one it was not installed but still nothing.

You want me to open the board and take a picture on the chip side...

Impero, I guess you meant to write "I would NOT be nice to ignore .."? :)

@Cosmin88 -- you are in good hands now, assuming BIOS is the solution you will get good help from Impero with this. :)
Good luck with the fixing!

Sorry friends. I had some health problems with one of my parents and I couldn't be too present. The problem is, the guy lied to me. He had the video card been mined and damaged his bios, and sold it to suckers because he didn't know what to do, so I'm the victim. The motherboard is seen by the driver as well as the fans, but I don't have a video signal ... I don't know what to do. Sorry for the trouble ...:respect::respect::respect:

Same thing. I think he rewrote both.

I found this picture on the internet. The person had the same board as me but no longer has it.The first is after the original

And the other is my current bios

What do you think about using the Bootable DOS Drive Method or AMD VBFlash / ATI ATIFlash Method ...? :)

You must use the proper command line syntax in order for the program to work if I were you I would suggest using amdvbflash version 2.93, with administrator privilege command line

I your place @Cosmin88 i wouldn't argue @eidairaman1 :)
More than thin i strongly suggest you to use as the only method to flash the BIOS files the CMD opened with admin privileges and from there using amdvbflash.
If you do not know how to do that write here and i will support you step by step

So you must use the CMD flash procedure:
Save the BIOS file (one at a time of course ) i provided in the amdflash folder and rename it as RX470.rom
open CMD with admin privileges
Use CD command to enter atiflash folder (directory)
use the following command to flash:
amdvbflash -p -f -fa -fs RX470.rom
after BIOS is flashed a message will appear to restart computer

Kepp us informed how it went

Hey your syntax is for version 3.20.

I was referring to 2.93 which is -unlockrom 0 then -f lol

Thank you '' impero '' and '' eidairaman1 '' from the bottom of my heart for reading the whisper in my heart.

To understand. But first I would like to thank '' impero '' for the rum and the time given and the time he lost . I do not understand the introduction of the program in the video card from what you explain to me. It has to be made of windows cmd administrator AMD VBFlash / ATI ATIFlash or Bootable DOS Driv because in the other section it's about the same -p -f ... '' impero ''. Please teach me the correct steps because the internet is good, but if I understood something from life, experience helps you more and I really don't want to make fun of it.

@eidairaman1 - no mate i am sorry but the syntax i wrote is exactly for 2.93
I could put print screens from my 2.93 when you use the command /? (i am using only this version for me so i kinda know it )

OK. Cosmin, 1st you must use command : windows+S (near the left CTRL) in order to start the search command from windows
In the search window you will type : CMD
It will return a result with that CMD.
DO NOT RUN IT!!!
Right click on that result and you will have an option: run as administrator, now choose that and click on it

ok now we are in a DOS emulator in windows environment but with admin privileges.
Put atiflash program in C , in root, so you will have : c:\AtiFlash (please be sure that you have AtiFlash version 2.93)
The 1st BIOS you download from out post move it in AtiFlash folder and rename it as : RX470.rom
In the cmd window you will enter the following command in order to flash your BIOS:

amdvbflash -i so you cand find out what is the adapter number in the system (your video card)(usually it will give you the result 0)
next you will enter the following command : amdvbflash -unlockrom 0
next you will flash it with the command :
amdvbflash -p -f -fa -fs RX470.rom
after BIOS is flashed a message will appear to restart computer

Kepp us informed how it went

OK. try the following syntax : amdvbflash -p -f RX470.rom
you renamed the BIOS file as RX470.rom and you put it in atiflash folder ?
