Well AMD has a niche in the Tablet Market

http://www.amd.com/us/products/notebook/apu/Pages/tablet.aspx#3

But can it play Crysis? probably not

but most of tablet and smartphone still use cpu from ARM, and the recent was nvidia with Tegra 2. it's not impossible if AMD can build better chip and beat both Cortex and Tegra, but now they still focus on releasing bulldozer.

crysis? why not? haven't found any person willing to play FPS games on tablet..

Now mature x86 OS designs and applications will run on tablets. wave goodbye to arm.

August now.. :banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead:

Yes, August

But in 2008 they said anywhere in 2011
in 2009 they said anywhere in 2011
in 2010 they said anywhere in 2011
in 2011 June they gave us the date for Orochi/Zambezi finally(July/August Launch and August/Availability)

I don't see once where they delayed Bulldozer/Orochi at all in these Public Roadmaps

In 2010 the internal roadmap said 2H 2011 with big bright bold words and I posted that here

1.54bill vs intel's what 13.2 billion? Yikes

You are looking at it wrong

Intel
Gross Profit - 7,885,000,000
Research Development - 1,916,000,000

Net Income - 3,160,000,000

AMD
Gross Profit - 691,000,000
Research Development - 367,000,000

Net Income - 510,000,000

AMD is Spending the most %-wise on R&D and gets to eat most of the cake

Benchmark Scores 2cm mark on bench with a razor blade.
First time I read AMD bringing back Opterons again.
I'm glad to see they are not doing bad.
