As long animation speed is really fast you can see a difference while eye tracking the ufo if you cant and its showing same blurriness on both 90 fps and 60 fps for example your monitor is probably being really bad, the difference in blurriness is is the difference in smoothness basically, higher refresh rates can render higher animation speed without making the ufo blurry while tracking it with your eyes cos it updates more often then something at low fps.
I can clearly see the difference between all frame rates in that test.
But as always what you see in tests diminishes in reality.

I just clicked the link you provided and observe it as is. Did not change anything.
And as I said the difference on ufo is clear when you eye track it. But this is a very specific (fast) scenario and in reality game play can be very different.
Not to mention that the human eye/brain in real life does not perceive fast movement with 144fps or even 90. That’s why motion blur exists, but I keep it always off on every game.
So 60 fps is really ok unless someone is doing competitive gameplay and demands super smooth movement.
I certainly do not.

Exactly. I can see the difference in the UFO test, but I can't see any difference while playing a game.
1. In a game, I have no comparison side-by-side.
2. I'm immersed in the game enough not to notice these things.
3. I don't play fast enough to care anyway.

If always been able to tell, i just move my camera faster and can tell from that if its locked at 60 fps or smoother then 60 fps even enshrouded players probably can tell, or they would not be complaining about the 60 hz camera bug, which got fixed btw.

Anyway seeing a disturbing trend with drivers, i am curious whats gonna happen with next drivers, more people may start noticing what if been seeing as driver quality spirals more out of control, unless of course i am wrong, and i hope i am because i still have ptsd from 2022 driver hell, currently we at the tipping point, it can go both ways.

Without realizing the new issue i just recently found is of similar nature of the RGB laser show bug its just visually different, but happens due to the same reason probably just different result.

I find your ability to find faults fascinating. RDNA 3 has been smooth sailing for me apart from a couple of the early drivers, and the still annoyingly high video playback power consumption.

it cannot be that hard to find these issues when AMD just never fixes them for months, as long AMD ignores them its even more easier to make memes about them, they do not want me to make memes they can just fix the issue, and i wont be able to make a meme about it simple as that.
Hope i triggered least 1 person when they hear the circus theme song on a issue that been reported multiple times by different users.
What is funny is i recommended an 7900 XTX around time i discovered the RGB laser show issue thinking my GPU is about to die, but later found out that it was reproduce able, even on a brand new 7900 XTX.

They finally did fix the issue tho, but it looks like it came at a cost of environmental effects that are no longer rendering, alto 24.3.1 state is preferred over having these effects, also would mean having an RGB laser show again.

I guess NVIDIA spoils game developers so much that they fix everything on their end, and the game developers are conditioned to never fix these issues them self, which ends up being an issue for non NVIDIA vendors such as AMD but also Intel and they have to sacrifice a lot of performance just to keep their gpu's from not having any visual bugs or crashes, just because game developers like to brute force everything, without realizing they are overloading graphics pipeline due to using less efficient methods to render something that looks visually tiny percentage better, while same results can be achieved probably using more efficient methods.

It's so strange seeing people complain about drivers, I've literally had no issues whatsoever for over a year, what am I doing differently ?
I still haven't played Call Of Duty yet, but it looks OK with Beam NG .drive using the Vulkan renderer and GTA V.

if you having the screen go black after throwing smoke or flash try disable variable rate shading, if heard this fixed another issue that gave also tiny black boxes on top of smoke effects when firing a gun, its shame i need be high level to be able to test and reproduce issue, and test work around.

did you report the bug officially to AMD for ratchet and clank and CoD? they can't fix it unless they get enough bug reports on it. anyways, if you did keep up the good work :)

Nvidia has issues too, even with newest drivers yesterday, Nvidia cards mess up in Tekken 8. So, nothing is ever perfect, we just have to report bugs whoever we have /shrug

I am a 7900 XT user, never had a single issue either.
That said if I had 12GB less like you do I likely would have a lot of issues too. 8GB is not enough for a 3070Ti.
Not enough for what? To render 30-50 fps average? According to TPU reviews of games released in 2023-2024, the 3070Ti keeps the same distance from the 6700XT. Unimaginable for many, it keeps the distance even at minimum fps. The second thing to note about these reviews is that in those scenarios chosen by TPU, you clearly see that the GPU limitation occurs before the vRAM limitation. But, if you are satisfied to play at 30-50 fps to benefit from extra vRAM, you are right.

My video card turns 3 years old in June. I have not encountered memory limitation because I choose my settings to avoid 50 fps minimum and 60 fps average in games. I didn't spend hundreds of dollars to play in photoshop mode. With 60+fps minimum and 80+ average in Cyberpunk RayTracing Ultra, I declare myself satisfied. Other games that fill my time do not use even 50% of their potential because they are online shooters and the "fireworks" disturb.

I was approached by some one on another forum that registered just to get my save game, which i provided later got update it was reproduced, i checked on my 6900 XT as well most of these issues are on rx7000 series, i did manage to still reproduce flickering issue in Doom Eternal on non standard aspect ratios, if i re run same cutscene without quiting game it always happens if it happens, and if i change aspect ratio to 16:9 and re run cutscene flickering stops.

the bug may take 1 to 3+ attemps to produce but once produced it is easily to figure out when it happens and when not with configurations, if heard this happens on NVIDIA gpu's as well but their have been bugs in the past in Horizon Zero Dawn where bushes get smaller and bigger randomly, that have been fixed at driver level for both AMD and NVIDIA.

Horizon zero dawn has HDR issues again.
I may have found another game that HDR does not work, but i have no idea if it ever worked, grip combat racing is washed out.

so it sounds to be like your issues are with that unique resolution your running combined with AMD - where as 16:9 users will still be fine?

pretty cool that someone (maybe from AMD?) approached you and got the game save though, that is promising

so it sounds to be like your issues are with that unique resolution your running combined with AMD - where as 16:9 users will still be fine?

Could be many reasons for that, however i do know i am very paranoid these days about FSR cos technically at certain percentages it breaks aspect ratio, but this can potentially be problem for 16:9 as well.
i i believe 99% to 95% does not break aspect ratio and neither 90% 80% 70% 60% 50% 40% 30% 20% 10%
You can use mspaint to check which percentages break aspect ratio.

For example The Last of us part 1 when set to FSR3 quality sets rendered resolution to 2560x1072 which if i input in mspaint and then set vertical to 1600 i get 3820 instead of 3840 so it breaks my aspect ratio at native by 20

The game i believe no longer crashes for me, but boy did it crash a lot in early days for bunch of months, that was frustrating experience.
But some games still crash, which is depressing.

Ratchet & clank rift apart also crashes besides visual bug, and it probably does due to having issues with rendering particle effects or environmental effects, which probably weakness of rx7000 series or they broke something that causes all sort of issues, but disabling MPO wont resolve these issues, but they are of similar nature.

Makes me wonder if MPO is breaking for same reason, and that AMD has't seen yet what actually causes the problem, but i have a suspicion of what that might be something with color related that not suppose to be visible, like a PNG malfunctioning where transparency just decides to crap it self and show what its not suppose to show.

Or just api limits being reached and directx crapping it self, anyway i am not a programmer, i am probably just sounding insane.
but i think these issues have existed since 22.5.2

I hope they start polishing everything rather then to ignore issues and put a stop to this nonsense soon, not fun to blow 200 euros on a game such as World of Warcraft and be ignored for 500+ days regarding issues, i am not even expecting this from Blizzard.

An area where i crashed the most Gogrond is overloaded with small particle effects that float around when i still had the 6900 XT and 7900 XTX did not fix the crashing either, 200 euros basically down the drain for nothing, alto i did eventually find out i was not crashing in Linux, but eventually decided to just give up, cos i do not trust Blizzard anymore.

I think people from the AMD Vanguard program are approaching me probably, or some one undercover trying to figure out if all the issues i posted are real, most of them probably are, especially RGB laser show bug, that can still happen in 24.3.1 its just super rare.

the bug may take 1 to 3+ attemps to produce but once produced it is easily to figure out when it happens and when not with configurations, if heard this happens on NVIDIA gpu's as well but their have been bugs in the past in Horizon Zero Dawn where bushes get smaller and bigger randomly, that have been fixed at driver level for both AMD and NVIDIA.

This is very interesting as I would get HZD trees flickering off and on during specific nighttime scenes on my two 5600 XTs (no other RDNA1 to test against however) but it doesn't happen on my 6x00XTs or my 7700 XT. And nothing similar in any other game. On the other side I'd get HZD tree/bush geometry mangling on my 1050 Ti if I OC the VRAM past a point, yet with the same settings I've never seen similar (or any instability) in other games. Maybe HZD is it's own special kind of weird.

reminds me of palworld issue

there are tree's in the distance without issue, being further or closer makes them appear normal again, its like light does not affect these tree's
Some times its just 2 or 4 tree's like this while rest are normal, sometimes its all of them, palworld is very stable but suffers a ton of popin issues.

Which reminds me on my gtx 1080 i had no popping in of details while maxed on, on 6900 XT i had lot of popping in when maxed out, and again on 7900 XTX i believe to i have to check to be sure tho.
