A few sources claiming that the new bulldozer architecture matchs or surpass's intel in IPC according to this article.

Is this the monester AMD has been waiting to unleash. With 2x the cores and a match in IPC, the 8 core BD might just be a big nasty intel killer.

Finnally we get some serious competition in the CPU space if this is true.
