AMD vs Intel future plans?

Intel plans on releasing their 32nm processors in Q4 2009 while AMD plans to release their 32nm processors in 2010 and AMD Fusion in 2011.

(Correct me if I'm wrong)

What are your opinions?

Will Intel begin to reign over AMD again?

AMD needs something architecturally different to really go beat Intel. And i think Buldozer was supposed to be exactly that (and it was 12-core, if i'm correct)
so, if intel will sit still (which i don't think will happen), then amd might have another "athlon vs pentium4" case.

But i really think they will always be pretty close, like they have always been

AMD late last year was trying to to make an extra branch of thier business, to expand the compatition, Intel was against the idea, i don't remember the exact words they used but basically they knew if AMD could do what they had planned, Things could be looking very diffrently for Intel. obviously if AMD do get this through then give it a few years for them to come up with the new tech, but i really got hopes for them

But for gaming 12 core is no help cuz games don't support more than 4 cores.
