These 5700 series cards look nice on paper and in the reviews...but what is going on with the pricing? Isn't this just the new next gen RX 570? Wasn't the msrp for the RX 570 169.99? There are rumors of 5600 and 5800 series cards going around....so these are actually just the new series of cards that are being released?
Prices have apparently doubled overnight? I guess AMD and nVidia got used to the cryptocurrency craze pricing schemes and just stuck with it?
I'm surprised noone has said a word on this? Just suck it up and pay the price eh? So...reasonable mid-tier pricing is now 350 to 400 bucks instead of 175 to 225? Am I correct on this?
I saved up some money to get a 5700 until I saw the pricing. I'll be keeping my RX 570 and RX 580 literally for years if this is how it's going to be from now on.
Frankly...they priced me right out of the market...or...I don't know what I'm talking about.
I've been buying video cards since the late 80's, early 90's...perhaps senility is finally setting in.
