I have an HTC Dream running CyanogenMod. Android is the best phone OS I have used. When AT&T rapes my T-Mobile data plan I'll be hopping over to Verizon and an HTC Thunderbolt or Droid Bionic.

I use android. Just switched from an htc droid eris on verizon to lg optimus v on virgin mobile. Both were/are running cyanogenmod7 (gingerbread).
