Well, my cousin uses tpu ALOT and he has dial-up. There were times when we were allowed an animated av that he couldnt use the site because it would flood his connection so bad that it would time-out.

That is the exact same reason why no animated av's today. I'm not for them or against them, I am against flooding the end-users bandwidth.

if animated av's were allowed, they would hold the same size restriction as regular pics. so unless if your friend's grafix card gets overwheled by displaying multiple pics at the same time (similies are animated) i dont htink you're cousin will have any problem.

panchoman, give this up. I think you're only doing this to get a bigger Post count. I think all of these polls should be put in General Nonsense, as they provide really no comments or feedback to TPU.

Also, enough with this "Teens will take over TPU!, and Teens v. Power users, and all of this other crap about the teen club being better than TPU." This place was great before the teen club came around, because now in most of your posts, you'll mention that "this is part of the teen club" or something related to the teen club taking over TPU!
