Hey everyone, first of all this is my first post here at Techpowerup so i apologize if this is the wrong section.
Lately i've been thinking of upgrading my aging graphics card.
I have been looking to buy 2nd hand GTX 670's to run in SLI or 2nd hand 7970's to run in crossfire which are looking pretty sweet now with Mantle comming up soon.
Main games i will be playing will be.
Battlefield 4
Star Wars - The Old Republic
The Secret World
One game i also know i will play when it's released is the new Battlefront game.
So i'm more inclinded to go with the 7970's due to it and battlefield 4 will have
mantle but is it worth the extra money?
I've had some bad experiences with crossfire in the past microstutter and such but i've heared most of it have been dealt with when it comes to the HD7000 series cards, true or false?
Please, i don't want this to turn into another Nvidia vs AMD fanboy fight i've seen enough of those on other forums. Both have their up's and down's.
TLDR; Need help chosing between GTX 670 SLI and HD7970 Crossfire.
