The Antec GX500 aims to mix things up in the entry level market, offering three fans and fan controllers right out of the box, it jumps into the fight with its fists flying. Do those inclusions come at a sacrifice in quality, or will the GX500 be able to come out on top as the featherweight champion?

I think Antec are starting to struggle when it comes to making cases. Their recent cases seems like rehashes of older cases with a few cosmetic changes. Im seeing a lot of Antec One, 1200/900/902 & 300 in their designs

the main base chassis is the same but different side panel, slightly differently molded front or top facia etc etc.

Id still pick the Antec One over the GX cases.

I've seen the Antec GX500 go for less then ~$40 USD typically with rebate but I have seen it for as low as ~$25 USD.

Either way its a great case for the money IMO.

Hi. Is it possible or not to attach a 120mmm fan to the side? or there are problems with PSU or graphics card?

I purchased this as a cheap option for an economic new build - a new venture for me. Very pleased with my choice. Had no problem with cabling and there was much more space than I needed for drives, etc. However...
The slider switch slot for the top removeable grill is weak. Mine broke the first time I slid the switch. Secondly, the side panel 'sings' when the hsrd drive is working hard with a very loud 'tenor' whine. 'I've wedged mine against its desk with a piece of styrene as a buffer. Is there a better remedy? It doesonly seem to need something to be in contact.
